Carolyn Gomez is a strategic finance and operations leader serving as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Corporate Secretary of The Goodheart-Willcox Company, where she partners with executive leadership and the board to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term enterprise value.

Throughout her career, Carolyn has led organizations through complex financial transformations, including turnarounds, high-growth phases, ownership transitions, and capital market events, strengthening financial discipline while enabling innovation and expansion.

In her role as Treasurer and Corporate Secretary, Carolyn serves as a trusted advisor to the board and senior leadership, bringing rigor, transparency, and sound governance to strategic decision-making.

Her career spans private and public companies, PE-backed and employee-owned organizations, start-ups and mature enterprises, across industries including publishing, manufacturing, distribution, and construction – giving her a rare ability to apply best practices across diverse business models.
