Do Young Kim
Navistar, Inc
Do Young (DY) Kim is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Navistar, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for overall financial management of the company, including its controller, treasurer, corporate finance, risk management, business transformation, corporate development and mergers & acquisitions functions.
Previously, Kim served as Vice President Corporate Development and M&A at Navistar where he managed all Navistar’s acquisition and divestiture activities. He also worked with executive and business unit leaders to identify new partnering opportunities that advance the company’s growth and technology strategies.
Kim joined Navistar directly from TRATON SE where he served as the project lead for the company’s IPO readiness and execution phases as well as the lead for the overall Navistar acquisition including due diligence, valuation, combined financials, capital structure and negotiation strategy. He also served as TRATON’s head of Treasury for a brief period.
Prior to TRATON, Kim worked as the CFO for several automotive joint ventures including Beijing Benz Automotive, Fujian Benz Automotive and Mercedes-Benz Korea.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Yonsei University in South Korea.
