Beth Davis

Elizabeth (Beth) Davis is Chief Operating Officer at the Chicago Public Library Foundation, a $7MM organization dedicated to supporting the Library’s most community-responsive programs. Since 2014, through positions of increasing responsibility, she has developed, implemented, and maintained efficient policies and procedures to ensure the organization’s financial health. Additionally, she leads a deeply collaborative annual budget process that engages the organization’s development team and 55-member Board of Directors as well as the Library’s program staff and leadership. She supervises the operations and marketing teams, prepares organizational and program budgets, manages all aspects of the HR process, and liaises with external auditors to complete the annual audit and preparation of IRS 990 forms. Outside of work, she has served on the board of Family Focus as the Program Committee Chair since 2023. She earned her B.S. in Finance from Saint Louis University.
