Hannah Lehman
Grant Park Music Festival
A seasoned financial leader with over 14 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Hannah Lehman currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Grant Park Orchestral Association/Grant Park Music Festival. As a member of the senior leadership team for this prestigious $8.7 million ten-week summer music festival held in Chicago’s Millennium Park, Lehman plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s financial health and strategic direction.
Lehman’s responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of financial, operational, and human resource functions including producing and interpreting financial statements, cash flow projections, and multi-year forecasts to overseeing administrative and IT operations.
Additionally, Lehman provides leadership for several key board committees, fostering collaboration and consensus building on critical issues such as finance, investment, government affairs, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
Lehman’s leadership extends beyond financial oversight at the Grant Park Music Festival. She has spearheaded the implementation of a quarterly projections process to foster deeper engagement from senior staff in financial results. Furthermore, and with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence, Lehman has successfully managed complex IT projects, cloud migrations, and office remodel initiatives.
Prior to joining the Grant Park Music Festival, Lehman served as the Administrative Director at Citizen Action/Illinois, managing the financial and administrative operations for three interrelated organizations. In this role, she spearheaded the implementation of a new organizational database, website redesign, and email marketing overhaul. Lehman’s earlier experience also includes campaign organization and fund development.
Lehman holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and has completed coursework in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University, including a Professional in Human Resources Certificate.
