Peter Dedes

Peter Dedes is the Chief Financial Officer at BigTime Software.  In this capacity, he is responsible for all finance and accounting functions, people / HR, business and corporate development, revenue operations / data analytics, and legal.  BigTime Software is the engine behind the greatest consulting firms on the planet, delivering back-office time/budgeting, invoicing and project management to over 2,400 firms worldwide and tracking over $4 billion in billable time each year.  BigTime is a PE-backed company based in Chicago committed to helping clients run professional teams more efficiently, unlocking potential revenue and improving profitability.

Prior to BigTime, he was the CFO at Hireology, a HR technology firm, where he raised over $50 million and helped grow the company from $4 million ARR and 80 employees to $30 million ARR and over 200 employees in just over 3 years.  Previously, he was the Director of Finance and Controller at INXPO, an enterprise video communication solution company.  Peter also spent time at Groupon as a Finance Manager.  Prior to that, he was an Associate at GVW, a private investment and holding company.  Peter started his career at FTI Consulting as a management consultant.  He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a double major in Accounting and Finance with a minor in mathematics.  Peter is a registered CPA.

He’s on the executive committee of CFOChicago and a founding-member of NextSeries, a community of over 200 business leaders in finance and accounting across the US.

Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his friends and family, out on the golf course, or grilling.  Peter and his wife live in Lakeview and are expecting their first baby boy in September.  Peter is a big Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan.
