Brunswick Corporation
Ryan M. Gwillim is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Brunswick Corporation, the global leader in marine recreation and technology. He has served as CFO since June 2020 and assumed responsibility for corporate strategy in 2023.
Gwillim joined Brunswick in 2011 and has held a series of senior leadership roles spanning finance, strategy, investor relations, and legal. His prior positions include Vice President – Finance and Treasurer, Vice President – Investor Relations, and Assistant General Counsel – Corporate and Securities, where he led SEC compliance and financial reporting. He was also named General Counsel – International in 2015, overseeing legal operations across global markets.
As CFO, Gwillim plays a central role in shaping Brunswick’s financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives. In his expanded role leading strategy, he helps drive the company’s transformation into a technology-enabled marine ecosystem, supporting innovation, acquisitions, and enterprise-wide strategic planning.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Gwillim was an associate at Baker & McKenzie in Chicago, specializing in corporate and securities law.
He is a certified public accountant and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, as well as a law degree, from the University of Illinois.
Gwillim also serves on the board of directors of The Manitowoc Company.
