Susan Kreh

Susan Kreh is a strategic leader and partner to the CEO and his team at Oil-Dri Corporation of America (ticker: ODC), a NYSE-listed global manufacturing company.  Ms. Kreh has over thirty-five years of experience in progressive corporate finance and information technology positions including her current position as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer.  Susan has prior experience as CFO for 8 years at Johnson Controls’ $7 billion global Power Solutions business following her tenure as Vice president, Corporate Controller for the then $35 billion public company.  Susan also has experience as General Manager of PPG’s global Optical Materials business having successfully led the introduction of new products from research to market launch. Following her success in general management, Susan served as $15 billion PPG Industries’ Global Treasurer for 5 years prior to leaving PPG to join Johnson Controls.  Interacting with board directors at PPG, Johnson Controls and Oil-Dri Corporation of America for over 20 years, she has demonstrated tremendous value to the board and shareholders through her excellent business acumen, foresight and execution. In addition to leading the finance, compliance and information technology functions, Ms. Kreh plays a key role in partnering with the CEO to lead Oil-Dri’s growth initiatives and Enterprise Risk Management focus. This includes developing and driving strategies to mitigate cyber security risk. 

Susan Kreh currently serves as a director on two Boards.  She is the Audit Committee Chair and a member of the Board’s Strategic Risk Oversight Committee for West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, a board she has served on for 5 years.  Susan is a financial expert who brings public company knowledge and process discipline to finance and information technology for this $2 billion mutual insurance company.  Ms. Kreh also serves as a Director for Solid Power, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLDP) where she chairs the Audit Committee of the Board.  Susan’s strategic experience includes defining and leading strategy development and execution, strategic planning, enterprise risk management, finance, information technology, cyber security, talent development and global operations. She has long-standing finance experience and qualifies as a financial expert for audit committee service. Susan’s experience is deeply rooted in both business-to-business and retail and wholesale products channels.     

Ms. Kreh has dedicated her career to three NYSE-traded public companies:  PPG Industries, Johnson Controls and Oil-Dri Corporation of America.   They range in size from $40+ billion to $400 million.  Susan has had a wide variety of functional leadership roles including those in accounting, finance, information technology, commercial development, general management, compliance and data analytics.  The scope of Susan’s roles has been largely global including leading functions in China and several Asian countries, Europe as well as North and South America.  Susan has served in several Corporate Officer roles including Treasurer, Corporate Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer and has extensive experience working with directors on Boards.
