Tim Bosslet

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Tim Bosslet attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where he earned a degree in Finance. Following graduation, Bosslet began his career in New York, working at J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division with a focus on consumer, healthcare, and retail businesses. In this role, he had his first introduction to the consumer packaged goods space in which he focused on strategy, capital raising, and M&A transactions. Bosslet then moved back to his hometown of Chicago, where he supported Greenhill & Co.’s opening of a new office, and executing M&A and strategic advisory engagements.

In 2011, Bosslet made the decision to pursue the passion for food and cooking. He went to culinary school in southern California, after which he worked as a professional cook as part of the One Off Hospitality restaurant group in Chicago.

After nearly 3 years of cooking professionally, Bosslet moved back into finance. Combining his passion and experiences in both food and finance, Bosslet spent the next 4+ years at Houlihan Lokey in the Consumer, Food, and Retail team in Chicago. In this role, he advised on over $2bn of total transactions, advising emerging Food & Beverage brands like Thanasi Foods, Angie’s BoomChickaPop, and Tate’s Bakery, among others.

In July 2019, Bosslet was hired at Chomps as the first dedicated finance hire at the Company. With over 15 years of Finance and CPG experience, Bosslet has served as part of Chomps’ Senior Leadership team, responsible for supporting the Company’s significant growth, while building out the planning, reporting, finance, and accounting functions at Chomps.

In 2024, Bosslet’s dedication and impact paid off with a well-deserved promotion to Chief Financial Officer, the Company’s first CFO. Based in the Chicago office, Bosslet is passionate about creating a sustainable and profitable enterprise by building a strong team and collaborating across functions.
