Rich Wright
V&V Supremo Foods
Rich Wright is the Chief Financial Officer at V&V Supremo Foods, a leading producer of authentic Mexican dairy and meat products. Since joining the company in November 2020, Rich has been instrumental in enhancing financial discipline, optimizing capital structure, and advancing the company’s strategic priorities. He oversees a broad portfolio of functions including financial operations, risk management, treasury, tax, and technology, and is a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team as the company navigates its next phase of expansion and innovation.
Rich brings more than 30 years of finance and operational leadership in the food and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to joining V&V Supremo, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Flavorchem Corporation, where he helped drive operational efficiencies and supported global growth initiatives.
From 2012 to 2019, Rich held several key finance leadership roles at TreeHouse Foods, a major private-label packaged foods manufacturer. His focus on supply chain finance, procurement optimization, and operational performance contributed to TreeHouse’s rapid growth and integration of multiple acquisitions.
Earlier in his career, Rich spent 20 years at Sara Lee Corporation, a global consumer goods company, where he held multiple senior roles across corporate treasury, capital markets, financial planning, and divisional finance. His experience at Sara Lee provided a strong foundation in managing complex financial operations and leading cross-functional teams through significant organizational change.
Rich’s academic credentials reflect his broad, multidisciplinary expertise. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. This unique combination of education in liberal arts, human capital, and finance shapes his collaborative leadership style and strategic thinking.
Known for his analytical rigor, operational insight, and calm leadership, Rich is passionate about building strong finance organizations that serve as strategic partners to the business. He is also a champion for technology-driven transformation and continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
