David Bruce
Erie Family Health Center, Inc.
David Bruce joined Erie Family Health Centers (Erie) in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Bruce is responsible for leading the development of Erie’s financial strategy and for the success of its financial operations. Mr. Bruce is charged with providing strategic financial leadership for Erie, ensuring that Erie adopts innovative approaches and maintains strong financial systems to support current operations and future growth. In addition, he guides Erie’s information technology efforts and provides direction and oversight to the organization’s 340B pharmacy program.
Mr. Bruce is an accomplished health care finance professional, with a 35-year career of progressively responsible experience in the healthcare field. Prior to joining Erie, Mr. Bruce served as the Chief Financial Officer of Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, a not-for-profit healthcare provider based in Glenview, Illinois. He also spent two decades in increasingly responsible roles at Baxter International, primarily focused in their Renal Care global business. While at Baxter he won the Finance Leadership Award and the Baxter Finance Innovation Award.
Mr. Bruce received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CPA in Illinois.
