Helene Donahue

Helene is a multifaceted Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer who combines deep strategic, financial, and operational leadership with a keen ability to lead through change and inspire teams around common objectives.

Helene is recognized for stepping up in the face of challenges. When she was recruited to Call One as CFO in 2018, she quickly restored confidence in the company’s financials, built relationships throughout the company, earned the trust of the Board of Directors, and led a restructuring that restored profitability.

In the face of executive and board-level transitions, Helene was named President (chief executive role) and elected to the Board of Directors in October 2020 and is leading a fundamental corporate transformation that is increasing client retention and improving profitability.

Previously, as Chief Financial Officer of Legacy.com, Helene was a key member of the executive team, managing double-digit revenue growth, expansion of the company’s strategic vision, integration of acquired businesses, leadership changes, and onboarding of new investors.

Early in her career, Helene progressed rapidly through a series of financial positions at GE Capital, American Express, and Bank of New York.

Helene holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BSFS in International Economics from Georgetown University. 

In addition to Board exposure and her position on the Board of Call One, Helene brings extensive non-profit experience, previously serving as Board Chair at Josephinum Academy and Board Member at Sacred Heart and Hackley School. She is currently a member of the Private Directors Association, Financial Executives International, and CFO Chicago.
