Kristie was the CFO and COO at Mesirow Financial, a global diversified financial services company with concentrations in investment management, capital markets, insurance, and real estate. She worked closely with merger and acquisition teams during due diligence and led post-merger integration efforts. Kristie also spent four years as president of the Retirement Planning & Advisory business, leading a team of advisors managing corporate qualified and non-qualified plans.
Kristie is a board director for three private company boards: First Women’s Bank (FWB) where she serves as the Audit Committee Chair and a member of the Risk committee. . She also serves as the Audit Chair for Smithbucklin, a Chicago-based association management company, and for NCCI, which provides objective state insurance rate and loss cost recommendations. At NCCI, she is also a member of the Nom/Gov Committee. Kristie is a member of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), attaining Certified Board Director status.
Kristie was a finalist and received the recipient award from the FEI Chicago CFO of the Year® Awards in 2012 in the large private company category.
