Matthew Brown

Matt joined SEKO as Chief Financial Officer in May 2018 and has been instrumental in SEKO’s transformation and growth story having more than tripled revenue during that period through supporting organic growth and the completion of 19 acquisitions.   An expert in financial management, accounting and strategy, Matt is an exemplary CPA and CMA with over 30 years experience in International business and financial management. Having lived and worked in Australia, Brazil and Mexico, Matt’s successful cross-cultural and cross-functional team development adds benefit to SEKO’s overall Operations and P&L Management. Prior to joining SEKO, Matthew served as President and Chief Financial Officer of SUZOHAPP, as well as, Chief Financial Officer of SAE Towers. In addition, he was the Executive Vice President, Latin America for one of the world’s largest mobile phone distributors, Brightpoint Inc., and Audit Assurance and Advisory Services Manager for global leader, Ernst & Young. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville graduating Magna Cum Laude.  When he began his career in 1991, Matt earned the Kentucky Society Award for obtaining the highest grades in Kentucky the state on the CPA exam. 

Matt lives in Lake Forest, Illinois with his wife Monica.  They have three boys and an Australian Shepherd named Bordeaux.
