Heniff Transportation Systems
Michael G. Hansen is the Chief Financial Officer of Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC. Mike joined the company in January 2022 and brings considerable executive experience for public, private and private-equity owned companies across diverse, global industries including aerospace & defense, automotive, manufacturing, software, telecom, oil & gas and public accounting. Prior to joining the company, he served as CFO for reverse logistics retailer Channel Control Merchants owned by KKR and based in Hattiesburg, MS.
Mike grew up in South Africa and has worked in Africa, Middle East, United Kingdom, and the United States. Early in his career, he served as an Army Officer, during which he obtained a military heavy-duty truck driver’s license. Mike has also held executive financial positions at BBB Industries, Cambium Networks, RAE Systems and Smith’s Plc.
Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, and he is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (UK). He and his wife live in Evanston, IL and they have three sons.
