Tony Blasco
Zeno Group
Tony Blasco is the Chief Financial Officer for Zeno Group, the award-winning, global integrated communications agency. Tony is responsible for the agency’s financial operations, inclusive of client finance and contracting, driving financial strategy and budgeting and leading corporate development. In partnership with the firm’s Global Leadership Team, he oversees investment in key capabilities and geographies around the world.
After taking Zeno’s financial reins in 2010, Tony was integral in growth initiatives to transform the agency from a mid-sized, 55-person shop to a global powerhouse with more than 18 offices across North America, APAC and EMEA with 700+ employees. During his tenure, the firm’s revenue growth has grown from $10M to $108 million in a little more than a decade.
Most recently, Tony played a strategic role in the investment in New York-based EGAMI Group, a multicultural integrated communications agency, to create a new model of collaboration for change. Zeno’s strategic investment in EGAMI will help scale its business while remaining Black-owned and independent; and provides access to resources, mentorship and new capital – all major hurdles for Black entrepreneurs to secure. Tony was instrumental in the agency’s global expansion and scaling of Zeno’s operations in Europe via startups and the acquisition including 3 Monkeys in 2016, and in operationalizing Asia offices that were added over the last nine years.
Tony is a seasoned 20-year veteran in financial management, corporate strategy and operations. Prior to joining Zeno, Tony served as Vice President of Finance for Edelman in various client finance roles, and in public accounting as a manager in the transaction advisory and audit groups at Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he consulted Fortune 500 companies and private equity clients.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University.
Tony lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife Vanessa and their three children. You can find Tony clocking in for his night shift coaching his kids’ basketball and softball teams and leading local father son/daughter campouts and volunteer activities. He also serves on the board of his community swim and tennis club.
